Motion Designer
The Motion Designer will be part of the Product Design Department and will report to the UI/UX Design Manager. It is expected that the role will engage in visual motion and interactive design in Evolution's products. The Motion Designer should be able to deliver high quality and timely execution of animated solutions and should be eager to push boundaries to achieve the most effective results by collaborating in brainstorming sessions as part of an international team of professionals.
This is an office-based position located in Warsaw. Candidates are expected to be currently based in Warsaw or the surrounding areas and comfortable working from the office. The role requires the ability to transform ideas into compelling animations and visual stories, ensuring the enhancement of player experience during gameplay, while maintaining consistency and high-quality within the brands' identity and standards.
- Create high-quality motion graphics and animations to enhance the UI, making the games more intuitive and aesthetically pleasing.
- Produce visual interactive outcomes to improve visual feedback clarification during game actions.
- Create animations with visual cues to guide the player's attention.
- Design beautiful, functional, and cohesive visual animations aligned with games and brand consistency.
- Actively contribute to design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and strategic discussions.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, managers, product owners, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define more engaging and attractive games, providing visual storytelling.
- Prepare final assets and specifications for development and oversee implementation to ensure quality execution.
- Present concepts, animated visuals, and enhancement of insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively in an agile environment, supporting the team in fast-paced delivery cycles.
- Stay up to date on motion design trends, tools, and industry best practices.
- Operate independently or as part of a team while contributing to a positive, collaborative environment.
- Deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines without compromising attention to detail.
- Transform ideas into compelling animations and visual stories, ensuring the enhancement of player experience during gameplay.
- Provide guidelines to development teams using best practices that are embedded throughout the design process.
- Handle feedback professionally and contribute to a productive team environment.
- Maintain consistency and high-quality within the brands' identity and standards.
- 3+ years of experience in motion design or similar creative role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating impactful motion graphics and animation work (required).
- B2B experience is a plus (nice-to-have).
- Bachelor’s degree in animation or related to the design field (required).
- Deep expertise in motion graphics and animation (required).
- Strong understanding of animation principles (required).
- Experience working in agile environments with tools such as Jira (required).
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe After Effects (required).
- Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders (required).
- Collaborative mindset (required).
- Excellent communication in English (advanced level required).
- Knowledge of Spine or Rive is a plus (nice-to-have).
- Experience with Figma is a plus (nice-to-have).
- Experience in the iGaming or Gaming industry is a plus (nice-to-have).
