Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Supervisor

Description

As an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Supervisor at Novibet, you will play a key role in leading and developing a team of AML Analysts, ensuring that all AML/CTF obligations are met in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Head of Customer Compliance & Group MLRO, to strengthen the company’s financial crime prevention framework.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of AML Analysts, ensuring high performance and continuous professional growth
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders (e.g. IT, BI, Product) to ensure smooth execution of day-to-day AML operations and reporting
  • Monitor team workload, set priorities, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations
  • Support the preparation of regular AML reports and regulatory submissions
  • Assist in the enhancement and implementation of AML policies, procedures, and controls
  • Deliver coaching, training sessions, and performance evaluations, including development plans and regular feedback
  • Support internal and external regulatory audits and inspections, ensuring readiness and accurate reporting
  • Stay up to date with regulatory developments and industry best practices in AML/CTF
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in in a relevant field (required)
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in AML/CTF within Banking, FinTech, or similar industries (Online Gaming experience preferred) (required)
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring a team is desirable (preferred)
  • Good knowledge of online gaming products and associated risks (required)
  • Strong understanding of AML/KYC frameworks, including CDD, EDD, and transaction monitoring (required)
  • AML/CTF certification (e.g. ACAMS, ICA) is considered an asset (preferred)
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coordinate and prioritize team activities (required)
  • Strong analytical and investigative mindset with high attention to detail (required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (required)
