Payroll Analyst
Trustly is looking for an experienced and dynamic European Payroll Analyst to join its growing European Payroll team on a permanent basis. Based in Lisbon, this role is responsible for overseeing Portuguese payroll operations and working closely with external payroll providers who prepare payrolls across European subsidiaries, including Spain, the UK, Malta, and Sweden.
- Overseeing Portuguese payroll operations.
- Working closely with external payroll providers who prepare payrolls across European subsidiaries.
- Minimum of 1+ years in operational payroll, including hands-on experience with Portuguese payroll mechanics, local statutory compliance, and managing multi-country third-party payroll providers across Europe (required).
- Prior experience in a fast-paced FinTech, technology, or multinational environment (nice-to-have).
- Hands-on experience with modern HRIS platforms (e.g., HiBob, Workday) or local Portuguese payroll tools/bureau portals (nice-to-have).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, high attention to detail, and collaborative working style (required).
- Solid understanding of local labor legislation, social security rules, and tax regulations in Portugal (required).
- Fluent in English and Portuguese (required).
