Backend QA Engineer

You’ll work closely with developers and product teams, owning quality across APIs, data, performance, and monitoring in a dynamic hybrid work environment.
- Drive end-to-end backend testing (functional, regression, integration, performance)
- Test APIs and validate data integrity across systems
- Identify, report, and track defects to resolution
- Define and monitor quality KPIs
- Execute load, stress, and scalability testing
- Analyze logs and leverage monitoring tools to track system behavior and detect issues
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies
- 4+ years of experience as a Backend QA Engineer (required)
- Experience working with AI tools for QA (test generation, analysis, and automation support) (preferred)
- Strong experience with API testing, SQL, log analysis, and monitoring tools (required)
- Proven monitoring capabilities (system behavior analysis, alerting, troubleshooting) (required)
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and best practices (required)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (required)
- Ability to work independently and manage risks (required)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills (required)
- Proactive, detail-oriented mindset (required)
- Advanced English (both written and spoken) (required)
