Payments Account Manager

Description

The client, Jugabet, is a brand and gaming platform accessible to players in Latin America. With a strong regional focus and localized strategies, Jugabet is quickly becoming a key player in the market.

This role involves managing the end-to-end onboarding with providers, including preparation of corporate documents and completion of application forms. It also includes negotiating fees and favourable commercial terms with providers, and sourcing and securing credentials such as API keys and access required for provider connections.

The role also requires overseeing account onboarding and ongoing management, drafting clear technical specifications for new provider and payment method integrations, and driving integration tasks through all stages, from setup to production, in coordination with development, QA, and other teams. Maintaining and growing formal and informal partner relationships is also key.

Furthermore, the position involves representing the company at conferences, industry events, partner visits, and business trips in target markets, and conducting market research on the most popular payment methods and presenting findings internally.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding with providers, including preparation of corporate documents and completion of application forms.
  • Negotiate fees and favourable commercial terms with providers.
  • Source and secure credentials (API keys, access) required for provider connections.
  • Oversee account onboarding and ongoing management.
  • Draft clear technical specifications for new provider and payment method integrations.
  • Drive integration tasks through all stages, from setup to production, in coordination with development, QA, and other teams.
  • Maintain and grow formal and informal partner relationships.
  • Represent the company at conferences, industry events, partner visits, and business trips in target markets.
  • Conduct market research on the most popular payment methods and present findings internally.
Requirements
  • 3+ years as an Account Manager/Project/Business Development/Operation Manager or similar position within the Payment team (required).
  • Experience in communication with foreign customers, partners, including C-level (required).
  • Understanding of KYC, AML, and compliance procedures (required).
  • Understanding of the technical structure of payment integrations (API, webhooks, transaction statuses, redirects, payment form fields) (required).
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English (required).
  • Experience formulating technical tasks for the development team (ability to communicate requirements clearly to technical specialists) (required).
  • Understanding of the testing process for payment methods before production release (nice-to-have).
